CHARGED: Man accused of setting fire to his home | 911
PENDER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies with the Pender County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in Hampstead for first degree arson.
According to Captain Jamie Ezzell, Dontay Lamont Williams is accused of setting fire to his home on North St. Johns Church Road Monday after arguing with his girlfriend.
She smelled smoke and saw Williams running from the smoky part of the house as she ran out of the property herself.
Williams is being held in the Pender County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
