Topsail HS to dedicate football game in fallen soldier's honor
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Topsail High School will pay its respect to an Army National Guard member who was killed last week by a suicide bomber.
Sgt. TJ Butler was one of three National Guard members killed from North Carolina.
In honor of the former Topsail High student, anyone with a military ID will be able to attend Friday’s football game for free. Members of the military will be recognized during the game.
Additionally, there will be collection tubs at the front gate for people to donate food to the Butler family.
Fans are asked to wear red, white and blue.
